News Article: Managing Cholesterol

Every week, new clients come into our clinic seeking a solution for elevated cholesterol levels. With Heart disease still the #1 killer in North America, it's no surprise. But there are some very effective solutions.

8 Weeks to a balanced blood report

This is our working average. Both triglycerides and LDL levels should drop a minimum 25% within 8 weeks and I encourage my clients to set a follow up cholesterol check for this time.

How do we do it?

There are four primary components to our program:

  • FLW ( 8-10 tablets per day divided among meals )
  • Policosanol ( 2 tablets taken every evening after your last meal or snack )
  • CoQ10 ( 1 capsule 100mg taken with your big meal of the day )
  • Niacin ( 1 tablet 100mg taken immediately after a meal to avoid flushing )

    What about exercise and diet?
Increasing the heart rate for 20 minutes 3 times a week and avoiding sugar, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine and grain ( all bread, cereal, pasta, muffins - even the healthier gluten-free grains ) gives us the best results.

Note: Your story is unique. While many scientific studies point towards a general effectiveness of these nutrients in managing cholesterol, it is imperative that a thorough review with your healthcare practitioner explores the advantages of incorporating these supplements.
