Ingredients: Vitamin C ( Ester-C brand Calcium ascorbate ) 350mg. Non-medicinal ingredients: Sorbitol, citric acid, sucralose, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate ( vegetable source ), vegetable stearin and natural orange flavour.

Dosage: Take one or two tablets twice daily with meals, or as directed by a health professional. Store in a cool dry place, out of reach of children.

Vitamin C is without doubt the most popular vitamin. As a precursor of collagen, it has an important role to play in the normal development and maintenance of bones, teeth, gums, cartilage and the skin. This nutrient is also a powerful anti-oxidant, which protects all tissues in the body from damage by free radicals and toxins. There is also evidence that Vitamin C plays an important role in maintaining the health of the immune system.

The Vitamin C in this formula is Ester-C® brand calcium ascorbate. Research suggests that Ester-C® is at least four times more bioavailable than conventional Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and twice as bioavailable than mineral ascorbates. In vitro studies also suggests that the naturally occurring metabolites of ascorbic acid (particularly calcium L-threonate) that are present only in Ester-C® brand ascorbates may have an important role to play in increasing the amount of Vitamin C actually used by cells. Another key feature of Ester-C® is that it is pH neutral and will not harm tooth enamel, which is a major drawback of most chewable vitamin C products.
