Dosage: Take one capsule twice daily.

Description: Anti-bacterial support of the urinary tract.

To stay in the bladder and cause infection, bacteria must anchor themselves to the cells of the bladder. Cranberry extract's primary use is to prevent E. coli bacteria from adhering to the lining of the bladder. Population studies indicate that E. coli causes 90% of first-time urinary tract infections (UTI’s) in women. It is also the primary pathogen in cases of recurrent UTI’s. The identity of the anti-adherence factors in cranberry has been narrowed down to fruit sugars and a protein-based compound that has not been isolated.

Caution: Cranberry should not be used as a substitute for antibiotics during an acute urinary tract infection.
