Product: Vitamin E 400iu d'alpha tocopheryl succinate

Company: Natural Factors

Ingredients: 400iu of pure Vitamin E in the form of d'alpha tocopheryl succinate, derived and isolated from 100% natural sources.

Dosage: Take one to two capsules daily or as directed by a physician.

Contains no artificial preservatives, color, dairy, sweeteners, starch, wheat or yeast.

Description: D’alpha tocopheryl succinate is made from succinic acid, which is an ester form of Vitamin E. Succinate is an organic substance which naturally occurs in the body. It is made by combining two acetic acid molecules. The natural form is written d'alpha tocopheryl succinate. The synthetic form is dl'alpha tocopheryl succinate.

The molecular structures of natural source and synthetic Vitamin E are different. It’s just like fitting a left-handed glove onto your right hand. Although the gloves looks the same, the fit just isn’t there. Similarly, synthetic Vitamin E, although having a similar molecular structure, does not work the same in the human body. Natural source Vitamin E is more potent, more bioavailable, and stays in the body longer than synthetic Vitamin E.

The succinate form of Vitamin E is kosher, vegetarian, odourless, best for older people, good for people with biliary atresia, and good for people with fat malabsorption.
