Shipping

We try to fill all orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment information. For orders destined within Canada, we will email you if an item is out of stock and when it is expected to arrive. You can then decide to wait until all items are ready to ship or proceed immediately without the back ordered items. With the average shipping price of an order being over $8.00, we can no longer afford to ship back orders for no charge ( in Canada ). Shipping and handling fees will be applied to all orders. Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the package, the destination and the method of shipment. The following shipping options are provided.

Within CANADA: NEW RATES as of DECEMBER 28th, 2007

All orders to destinations within Canada are shipped via Canada Post. Most packages are under 1 kg and cost $7.99 for surface mail delivery ( 3 to 6 days ). A new catagory has been added to allow for a reduced shipping charge. Minimum order of $75.00 will have a reduced shipping charge of $4.50*.

For Express Post under 1 kg the prices are as follows:

  • Ontario and Quebec ( 1 to 2 days ): $8.50
  • Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI ( 2 to 3 days ): $14.50
  • BC, Alberta and Newfoundland/Labrador ( 2 to 3 days ): $19.50
  • Northwest Territory, Yukon and Nunavut ( 2 to 4 days ): $22.50
We will quote shipping costs on packages over 1 kg on an individual basis. (If you live in a rural area delivery times may not meet these guidelines.) Delivery time within Canada depends on the destination. For example shipping by surface mail can take up to three weeks from Kingston Ontario to British Columbia locations. Closer destinations take less time. Express Post should take 1 day within Southern & Eastern Ontario and 2 days for most major distribution centres in Canada.

Continental USA: NEW RATES as of DECEMBER 12th, 2007

Canada Post has improved the level of service to the USA. The new Expedited service has replaced "surface mail" and shortened the delivery time from 3 to 5 weeks down to 7 - 10 days. Unfortunately ExpressPost USA rates have been increased.

All orders to Continental U.S. destinations are shipped via Canada Post. Most packages are under 1 kg ( 2.2 lbs ) and cost $12.95 CAD for Expedited mail delivery, which takes approximately 7 to 10 days to arrive. Alternatively, for $21.95 CAD we can ship US ExpressPost which will arrive in 4 to 6 days ( excluding Sundays ). We will quote shipping costs on packages over 1 kg ( 2.2 lbs ) on an individual basis. Shipping time can be affected by the efficiency of border customs officials.

Overseas International: NEW RATES as of JANUARY 14th, 2008

We will quote all shipping outside of North America by e-mail. Sorry but we no longer ship International orders by surface mail because many times the orders don't arrive. As a guide parcels that weigh under 500 g will ship for $16.00 CAD for air mail delivery. Parcels over 500 g but under 1 kg cost $30.00 CAD for air mail. Parcels over 1 kg but under 2 kg cost $47.00 CAD for air mail. Delivery time depends on destination but allow about 2 to 3 weeks for air mail.

    * Please select the correct delivery option for your area as we will email customers who select the wrong shipping rate. This will delay your parcel arriving in a timely fashion.
